Sophia Dunkley returns to England’s squad for their upcoming Metro Bank One Day International series with New Zealand, joining Stars teammate Alice Capsey.
Dunkley – who has been in imperious form for the Stars this season, scoring 194 runs in six Charlotte Edwards matches and 293 runs in five Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy innings’.
England Head Coach, Jon Lewis said: “We welcomed Sophia Dunkley back into the squad at the end of the Pakistan series as her performance across the domestic game has been outstanding and she earned the right to be back in this squad through performance.”
Alice Capsey impressed with the bat in May’s Pakistan series, scoring 44 and 39 not out in her two innings.
